Alumni Graduation Flashback

Let's take a stroll down memory lane! Whether it's the thrill of winning a game, the laughter shared with friends, or a poignant moment with a beloved teacher, we love to hear it all! Let's celebrate those cherished moments together and reminisce about the journey that brought us here.

Whitney Cannon Jennings: Class of 2007

Favorite Memory:
I loved (still do!) Jenks High School- whether it was having lunch in the annex or even just walking to class, I enjoyed my time at Jenks. I made so many great friends in band, but also in all my classes. My favorite times were pep rallies and Friday nights at the football games! And, of course, the most exciting games were always Jenks/union! I love seeing how everyone’s lives have changed, but it’s great to reminisce all our fun times in high school!

Brooklynne (Carroll) Deinema: Class of 2007

Favorite Memory:
I remember getting to sign the national anthem at the homecoming game my senior year. It was an incredible experience that I won’t ever forget.

Cheryl Wyer Woodall: Class of 1979

Favorite Memory:
When Deca Won State in 1979, against Putnam City, and I Won State in General Merchandizing; and got to go to Houston Tx for Nationals.

Richard Linihan: Class of 1974

Favorite Memory:
We were playing Bixby in a football game. Tom Fielder was quarterback and I was wide receiver who ran plays in from Coach Bunyard. We were about 8 yards from a crucial first down. Bunyard called a rollout pass to tight end Jimmy Marshall and said, "TELL HIM TO MAKE SURE WE GET A FIRST DOWN." Well, Tom and I always thought we knew better than the coaches. I took the play to Tom and he said, "I'm throwing to you (back across the field deep)." But...... LOL....Tom rolled right and stopped, looked back left and threw with all his might. Bixby almost intercepted and I had to face the music on the sidelines. Coaches shouldn't be allowed to yell that loud. LOL Then the next day, the coaches had taped a poem to our lockers. It read: "I shot a pass into the air. It fell to earth I know not where. And that is why I sit and dream on the bench with second team." Hey, we won the game. What was the biggee?
