Hunter (Peterson) Sidorakis and Nick Sidorakis

Hi my name is Hunter Sidorakis (Peterson) and my husband, Nick Sidorakis and I met back in 1997 at Jenks Southeast Elementary in the 2nd grade. Not only did we have the same friends at school, but our parents were in the same circle of friends so we were constantly together our whole childhood, and remained best friends with the occasional on and off boyfriend/girlfriend title through our middle school years.

We attended lots of Jenks school dances together and both played high school basketball at Jenks. We have the best memories watching each other play and riding the bus together to/from away games. It was then when our deep friendship finally took a turn into love. We dated through the end of high school and then on and off in college as we navigated the struggles of trying to survive being in a relationship and playing college basketball at two different schools. I played basketball at Rogers State and Nick played at Oklahoma State and we made the effort to see each other as much as possible.

After college in 2011, we both came back to Tulsa to settle down and start our careers. We purchased our first home together in June 2014 and the later that fall (Nov 2014) we got engaged at our Jenks High School Alumni Basketball game where it all started in front of all of our friends and family.

We got married the following fall in October 2015, then welcomed our first baby girl, Charlie in May 2017. Shortly after we had our second daughter Campbell in Feb 2019 and are now expecting our 3rd girl, Collins in March 2023. Nick works for Executive Homes and I just recently retired from almost 10 years with Enovation Controls to stay home and raise our 3 girls. Our oldest Charlie is now in Kindergarten at JSE and Campbell will attend preK there in the fall. We are excited to have our girls not only attending Jenks, but the same elementary school that we both met at years ago. We are forever Jenks Trojans! :)

Congrats to both of you on growing a beautiful family! It seems like yesterday that I was being crossed up by Hunter and shot over by Nick.
