Taught 17 years for Jenks Vision of Excellence winner Jenks West Elem Teacher of the Year Moved to Mansfield, TX (suburb of DFW) Named Site Teacher of the Year in my 2nd year with Mansfield (I credit my years teaching with the amazing staff at JPS for making me the teacher I am today) Named Mansfield District Teacher of the Year also in my 2nd year at Mansfield Now in my 26th year of teaching overall. Married to a 1990 Union grad, Jeremy Skaggs 4 children: Jarrett - will graduate from William Jewell College in May 2022 with a Civil Engineering degree (and a job!!) Dana- will graduate with a nursing degree in 2023 Hayden- freshman at Eureka College in IL Libby- junior in HS
